This Year's Keynote Speaker!

Lloyd Newell has been the voice of the long-running weekly radio and television show Music and the Spoken Word since 1990.  Brother Newell writes and hosts each program.  He is also a professor of religion and family life at Brigham Young University.

Brother Newell is a descendant of Susannah Stone Lloyd, a member of the Willie Handcart company.  

Brother Newell received a Ph.D. in Family Sciences from BYU in 1999 and has written numerous books, including May Peace Be With You, The Divine Connection, Come Listen to a Prophet's Voice, The Healer's Art.

To some, we're known as THE "Workshops Conference", simply because the Vegas singles conference has a long-established reputation for bringing in the best talent.  We'll provide you with a huge smorgasbord of informative and inspiring workshops from which to choose.

Onsite registration starts at 5:30pm on Friday, February 17th and will be open all evening and all day on Saturday.

Thursday activities including dinner are FREE for all singles. :)

Please register and pay when you get to the conference.  Full conference price at the door will be $89 per person.

Once again the committee will be issuing a limited number of special VIP tickets!  These tickets will go to the first 100 who register as well as a few other special atendees, such as the winner of our "Name Our Theme" contest.

VIP Ticket holders will be treated to up-front reserve seating at the keynote address and the Saturday night concert. :)

Q: What is the dress code?

The dress code for Friday & Saturday is Nice Casual, LDS Standards. Please see For the Strength of Youth if you have questions about LDS standards.

For the dances, of course you can be as dressy as you care to be. Some women wear a dress or skirt, most wear jeans or slacks. A few guys might might show up in a sport coat.

Workshops again are nice casual. Sunday Sacrament Meeting & Fireside of course will be usual Sunday attire.

Q: Do I have to pay online?

If you don't have a credit/debit card or simply don't wish to pay online, your other option is to mail in a check or money order (click here to download the form). You may also pay cash at onsite registration during the conference.

Q: What if I'm not Mormon?  May I still attend your conference?

Any single adult, LDS or not, is welcome to attend our conference provided they agree to abide a conduct of dress and behavior consistent with Church standards. These standards can be found by clicking here: For the Strength of Youth. BTW, though written to address the youth of our church, these standards transcend age and are just as applicable to adults.

Q: I'm under 31 years old.  Is it okay if I attend?

Our conference is not for children, however Young Single Adults (YSA) aged 18-30 are certainly welcome to attend if they wish. But please keep in mind that this conference is intended for and geared toward the 31+ demographic.

Q: I'm getting divorced but it's not yet final.  May I still attend?

No you may not! Sorry, all divorces must be final before you attend our conference.

Q: I'm in my (30s, 50s, 80s, etc.).  Will there be singles there my age?

The nice thing about attending the Las Vegas LDS Single Adult Conference is that you will likely find many like-minded peers that are close to your age. We track age at registration, so we know for a fact that we have equal attendance from mid singles and older singles. In fact, attendance is pretty much equally divided among singles in their 30s, 40s, 50s an 60s. Attendance does fall off for those over age 70, however we do have a few.

Q: How do I get a refund or transfer my ticket?

For 2017 like last year, we've established a no-refunds policy. Please consider this fact when deciding to register in advance. In the past, the committee has helped with re-assigning tickets bought and sold by third-parties. Providing this service imposed a huge time burden on our limited volunteer staff and will no longer be provided. Of course you are welcome to buy, sell and swap your tickets with third parties on your own (people are doing this all the time inside our Facebook group), however the committee will not get involved in any way with these transactions, and you take full accountability and responsibility for all associated risks and problems.
